David Gianotten ร่วมงานกับ OMA ในปีพ.ศ.2551 และก้าวขึ้นเป็นหุ้นส่วนที่ทำหน้าที่บริหารจัดการ งานของ OMA ASIA ในอีกสองปีต่อมา ในปีพ.ศ.2552 Gianotten เปิดตัวสำนักงาน OMA Hong Kong ซึ่งใช้เป็นที่ตั้งสำนักงานใหญ่ของ OMA ASIA ปัจจุบัน Gianotten เป็นผู้บริหารงานของ OMA Hong Kong และ OMA Beijing ซึ่งครอบคลุมถึงผลงานด้านการออกแบบของ OMA ในสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน และอีกหลายประเทศในแถบทวีปเอเชีย ผลงานของ OMA ASIA ในช่วงนี้ กระจายอยู่ในหลายประเทศเช่น Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Taipei Performing Arts Centre, CCTV Headquarters และ Television Cultural Centre เมืองปักกิ่ง และ Chu Hai College of Higher Education ในฮ่องกง ในปีพ.ศ.2553 David Gianotten ร่วมกับ Rem Koolhaas ในการจัดทำแนวคิด ในการวางแผนแม่บทสำหรับ West Kowloon Cultural District ซึ่งนับว่าเป็นศูนย์กลางทางวัฒนธรรมที่ ใหญ่ที่สุดในเกาะฮ่องกงในขณะนี้ David Gianotten เกิดปีพ.ศ.2517 ที่ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ จบการศึกษาด้านสถาปัตยกรรมและด้านเทค โนโลยีการก่อสร้างอาคารจาก Eindhoven University of Technology หลังจากจบการศึกษา Gianotten เป็นสถาปนิกและกรรมการผู้จัดการให้กับบริษัท SeARCH (Amsterdam) ก่อนที่จะมาร่วมงานกับ OMA
David Gianotten joined OMA in 2008 and became partner in charge of OMA Asia in 2010. In 2009, he launched OMA’s office in Hong Kong, which is now OMA’s Asia headquarters. He oversees OMA Hong Kong next to OMA Beijing and leads OMA’s development in Greater China and the rest of Asia. Projects currently under his supervision include the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the Taipei Performing Arts Centre, the CCTV Headquarters and Television Cultural Centre in Beijing, and the Chu Hai College of Higher Education in Hong Kong. In 2010, he delivered the West Kowloon Cultural District conceptual masterplan, the biggest cultural project in Hong Kong to date, together with Rem Koolhaas. Born in 1974 in the Netherlands, he studied Architecture and Construction Technology at the Eindhoven University of Technology. Before joining OMA, he was the Managing Director – Architect of SeARCH in Amsterdam.
