Guest Speaker : Latifa Alkhayat

| Maraj

Boonserm Premthada is a Thai architect and founder of Bangkok Project Studio, known internationally for his socially and ecologically driven approach to design. His work emphasizes local wisdom, vernacular techniques, and the potential of unconventional materials such as elephant dung, reclaimed timber, and earth. Rather than focusing on architecture as an object, he frames it as a process of coexistence between humans, nature, and time. His projects, including the award-recognized Elephant Chapel, highlight interspecies relationships and sustainability. Beyond practice, he contributes to education and global discourse, with works held in MoMA and M+ Museum collections.
