Lifestyles and work patterns have shifted unprecedentedly—from Work from Home and Digital Nomadism to Hybrid Work—directly impacting spatial usage and architectural design directions.

The Challenge of AI and Human Adaptation

While we strive to stabilize the economy, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has leaped forward, evolving from a mere "Assistant" to a "Decision Maker" in various contexts. The critical question arises: "Will we coexist with this understandingly, or simply surrender to its speed?" We stand in a society divided between those who adapt quickly and those who need time to find sustainable answers.

Accumulating New Wisdom for the Next Century

In the context of Thai society and the architectural profession, Architect'69 serves as a platform to collectively explore how we can learn, adapt, and coexist with these changes.

Under the core concept "SATI : WISDOM : PROMPT," we aim to gather, create, and pass on new knowledge. This will serve as inspiration for our peers and society to step confidently into the future, preparing for the upcoming centennial celebration of the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage.

History

The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage has organized the Architect Expo since 1986 (Architect'29) to promote the architectural profession to the public. This year marks the 38th edition, expecting over 350,000 visitors. The event aims to serve as a central platform connecting architects, the public, and construction technologies.

"How will we lay the foundation for new wisdom... amidst such change?"

As the world enters an era of volatility (Protectionism, Geopolitics, Pandemics), lifestyles have changed (WFH, Digital Nomad). AI is jumping from "Assistant" to "Decision Maker." The question is, will we coexist with understanding or surrender to its speed?

Architect'69 is a space to find answers on how to learn, adapt, and coexist with these changes. Under "SATI : WISDOM : PROMPT," we aim to accumulate, create, and pass on new knowledge to inspire the profession and Thai society to cross this transition securely towards ASA's upcoming 100th anniversary.

Architect'69 is committed to the ASA100 Sustainable Goal. We encourage exhibitors to design booths with consideration for materials, waste management, and energy efficiency to compete for the "ASA Expo Sustainability Design Award" and jointly establish a standard for sustainable exhibitions.
