ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Eco Architect is an architecture firm based in Phuket, Thailand with a focus on architectural design services for habitats located in Tropical Climate Zone. The habitat design mainly depends on power of the nature and encourages its maximum potential within balance of nature and human. Eco Architect focuses on for design principles: Eco Proficiency, Vernacular Architecture, Human Centric and Harmony. Khamron Sutthi is an architect who has experience in residential design and construction. Growing in a rural area in the Northeastern region of Thailand, he noticed the power of nature and its beauty surround him. Living and working in Phuket, he has learned and gained his interest in how to integrate his design with the natural surrounding environment. His works focus on passive design solutions and energy conservation through a wide range of design strategies including natural ventilation, external shading, daylighting, evaporative cooling and local material utilisation.
